Ambassador FAQs

How does the promo code work?
  • Once a new patient signs up at getnugg.com they can enter a promo code in the side Menu to receive a $20 credit toward first order. The code is NOT case sensitive. There will be green text confirming the code was correctly applied (and that $20 in credit was added to their account!
  • This code will not work with other invite promo codes
  • The maximum amount of credits to have per order is $20
  • If they have issues applying, they should email support@nuggmd.com. Someone will respond to fix the issue within 30 minutes, on average.
How do I make money?
There are two ways:
  1. Refer Patients: You share your promo code (or invite link) with friends and Nugg will pay you $10 for each patient that signs up with your code and places an order. You get paid once every two weeks.
  2. Refer Ambassadors: Get a $50 bonus for each new Ambassador that you refer once they hit 5 code activations. You’re your friends this link to sign up: https://getnugg.com/ambassador/signup
How often do I get paid?
You get paid every two weeks via PayPal.
Is PayPal required in order to get paid?
Yes, a PayPal account in order to receive payment. If you don’t have a PayPal account, create your free account at paypal.com. You can connect your bank account to PayPal to easily deposit your payments directly into your bank account.
What am I expected to do?
Spread the word and sign people up for Nugg! The more you are out there, the more you will get paid. You can also set up strategic meetings with potential partners and Nugg will compensate you accordingly. Basically, help Nugg grow and Nugg will make sure you are compensated!
Can I order promo cards?
Yes, you can order custom promo cards and other marketing materials on our Vistaprint Portal at nugg.biz.vistaprint.com
Where are the best places to promote?
Some good places to promote are:
  • Marijuana evaluation centers/clinics
  • Dispensaries
  • Cannabis-related events (like Cannabis Cup)
  • Bars, clubs, music festivals & events
  • Meetups & cannabis-friendly clubs and groups
  • Foodie events, food truck parks
  • Parks, sporting events, beaches
  • College events, parties, football tailgates, etc.
Will we ever meet up in groups?
We meet up in groups to promote at events and high traffic areas around town. Also, we often have contests where the team goes out and sees who can sign up more people in a weekend. Winners get cash and cannabis-related prizes.

Can I sponsor an event?
Your Growth Managers will post in the Facebook group about events that you can attend in groups! If you want to attend an event on your own and need swag (e.g. stand-up banner), you have a few options.
  1. Email support@nuggmd.com to coordinate the shared use of swag such as banners and table stands.
  2. Fund the swag yourself. You can request unique codes for events and print posters, flyers and promo cards to pass out.
How do I find out how many people used my code?
You can track your earnings in real-time from the Ambassador Portal at getnugg.com. To access the Ambassador Portal, click “Ambassador” in the left-hand Menu. In the “Referrals” tab you will find your referral numbers/earnings broken down by promo code, as well as totals amounts of your upcoming and past paychecks.
Can partner with local businesses to promote my code?
Yes! You are allowed to request new promo codes and cards for shops who have agreed to promote your code. You can order additional materials like cardholders, posters, banners, and other Nugg swag. Email ambassador@getnugg.com to talk about promoting your code through local shops.
How do I enter a promo code on Nugg?
Enter the promo code in the left hand menu at getnugg.com.
How much is my code worth?
Your code gives new users $20 in credits.
Do I still get paid if someone that I refer didn’t order?
You get paid after they place their first order. The large majority of people who signup with a promo code place their first order - sometimes it takes a few weeks, so stay patient, plant seeds, and wait for harvest.
